Jim was the best man I will ever know.  My heart is broken.  Hope all is well...Seven for LaTapatia.

For me, Jim WAS the embodiment of NALMS - dedicated, knowledgable, very cheerful and always happy to see and work with you.  We still have a Hydrolab he sold to us.
Jim was unique, he made each of us and all of us better.  The familial attitude if NALMS is in large part Jim's influence.  I am better for knowing him.
Norma, thank you for sharing such a giant with us.

My mother used to say that if it rained on the day of a funeral, the soul went straight to heaven. We didn't need the rain to tell us that this time. We know how much the Good Lord loves Jim!
Jim was the epitome of goodness. Whether at church or at work, he spread the joy of God everywhere. I feel so blessed and privileged to have known him in both places, I'm also blessed to have you in my life, Norma. I will be praying for you daily. I miss you both and I will always love you.

My heart goes out to you at this time.  Jim was such a kind, sweet man who was a role model to me for how to treat people. I doubt he ever met a person who didn't become his friend. When you talked to Jim, he made you know that you mattered.  When I was awarded the NALMS Secchi Disk Award, it was so much more meaningful because Jim personally presented it to me.  The genuine pride on his face as he did so is etched into my memory.  I will never forget him.

I feel so blessed to have been able to spend time with Jim over the years. I can honestly say that I have never met anyone that had more of an impact on my life. Whether a personal or professional encounter, Jim was truly a shining example of how to treat others. Jim never met a stranger, and never left a conversation without a friend. My heart and prayers go out to all of you.

Alison and I wish you peace and comfort. Quite simply, Jim was the best man I ever knew. For over 15 years we travelled the country and I savored every moment we had together. "Rare Bird" indeed. He will be sorely missed by all who knew him.

My deepest sympathy at this time of your loss.  Jim was an ambassador for all things good in life and in a human being.  His sincere and heartfelt smiles, energetic handshakes, and twinkling eyes brightened everyone's day who had the good fortune to make his acquaintance.
