

Funeral Mass for Juan Serafin Jimenez will be celebrated at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, March 5, 2013, at St. John Vianney Catholic Church, 3201 Sunrise Road, Round Rock, Texas. Committal will follow at Cook-Walden/Capital Parks Cemetery in Pflugerville, Texas.
Visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m., Monday, March 4, 2013 with rosary recited at 7:00 p.m. at the Cook-Walden/Capital Parks Funeral Home in Pflugerville, Texas.
Mr. Jimenez passed away on March 1, 2013 at the age of 78. Born on August 24, 1934, he was the son of Rafael and Santiaga Jimenez. He retired after 40 years of service from Borden’s Milk of Beaumont, Texas and had recently worked for Round Rock Independent School District. He and his wife, Anita, had moved to Round Rock, Texas from Beaumont, and were members of St. John Vianney Catholic Church.
Mr. Jimenez is survived by his wife, Anita Munoz Jimenez; daughter, Lou DiDio; two sons, David Jimenez and Juan “Johnny” Jimenez. He is also survived by seven grandchildren, Michael DiDio, Jr., Johnny Jimenez, Jr., Melissa Jimenez, Michaella Dumas, Nicole Jimenez, Daisy Jimenez, and David Jimenez, Jr.; nine great-grandchildren, Dylan Jimenez, Kellsie Dumas, Mason Wade, Cheyenne Jimenez, Mia DiDio, Madison Wade, Gianna DiDio, Micah Dumas, and Ethan Jokisch. Mr. Jimenez is also survived by two brothers, Rafeal Jimenez and Julian Jimenez; and two sisters, Amelia Lara and Theresa Zepeda; along with many other loving family and friends.
Pallbearers will be Waldo Munoz, Crecencio Zepeda, Tommy Munoz, Rafael Jimenez III, Eric Jimenez, Bobby Losolla, and Alex Lyons. Honorary pallbearers will be David Jimenez II, Victor Gutierrez, Aaron Dumas, Paul Sulaica, Johnny Jimenez, Jr., Rueban Munoz and Abel Munoz.
