On September 8, 2022, Juanita Narvaiz Atkinson was united with her Lord and Savior. She passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving husband and daughters. Juanita “Grandma” was born April 1, 1946 in Goliad, Texas and grew up in Port Lavaca, Texas. She loved camping, fishing at Port Lavaca beaches, and spending quality time with her grandkids and family. On any given day you could find her and Acey watching Sci-Fi and country western movies. She loved planting flowers, was a jewelry collector, she loved guns and had a need for speed with her sports cars.
Preceding Juanita in death were her parents, Augustina Olguin and Pablo Narvaiz and her brother, Pablo Narvaiz Jr. She is survived by her husband who was the love of her life, Mr. Acey Atkinson and children, Linda and Danny Abila, Gloria Rock, Gina Rendon Duran and Leonardo Ibanez, Sylvia and Jessie Juarez, Tim and Deanne Atkinson, Joann and Sara.
Her beautiful grandchildren are Sandra, Cindy, Danny Jr., Veronica, Adam, Angelica, Brianna, Adrianna, Daniel and Leonardo Jr., Abel, Johnny and Beverly.
She leaves behind 15 great grandchildren including an unborn sweet baby, Liam Roehricht due December 15, 2022 to whom she couldn’t wait to meet.
She is also survived by her brothers, Pilar and his wife, Linda Narvaiz, Michael Olguin and Javier Olguin as well as her sisters, Herlinda Narvaiz-Christie, Pattie Barraza, Dora Thompson and Frances Ruiz.
We will hold you in our hearts until we can hold you in Heaven, gone but never forgotten!

A visitation for family and friends will be held from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, September 13, 2022 with a recitation of the rosary beginning at 7:00 p.m. Funeral services will begin the following day at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, September 14, 2022 at Cook-Walden/Capital Parks Funeral Home in Pflugerville, Texas. She will then be laid to rest in Cook-Walden/Capital Parks Cemetery.
