Linda Kay Allen

On the morning of November 20, 2021, Linda was called home to be with the Lord. She transitioned peacefully with her loving husband, Chapelle, by her side.

Linda faithfully attended Fifth Street Missionary Baptist Church in Oklahoma City, OK, where she took part in various activities.

Linda graduated from Sidney Lanier High School, Austin, TX, Class of 1976. After graduating high school, she enlisted in and proudly served her country as a member of the United States Army.

Linda worked for the Department of Defense, the U.S. Air Force at Tinker Air Force Base, Oklahoma. She worked as the administrative Office Manager for Lieutenant Colonel James Davis, Commander of the 552 Maintenance Operational Group.

She was preceded in death by her father, Arthur V. Clark; stepfather, Jerry B. Abrams; and brother, Leonard Abrams.

Linda leaves to cherish her loving memory, her mother, Ester Abrams of Austin, TX; her husband Chapelle R. Allen of Oklahoma City, OK; her son, Jason J. Jarmon of Austin, TX; stepdaughter, Vella J. Allen of Biloxi, MS; brother Arthur V. Clark of Austin, TX; two granddaughters, Amari Brooks (Bryson) of Ft. Gordon, GA and Jahvee J. Allen of Biloxi, MS; one grandson, Derrick Deloach of Biloxi, MS; two great-granddaughters, Aaylah and Denver; and a host of nieces and nephews.

A funeral service for LINDA will be held Saturday, December 4, 2021 from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM at Cook-Walden/Capital Parks Funeral Home, 14501 North Ih-35, Pflugerville, TX 78660 with a visitation preceeding from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A graveside service will follow on Saturday, December 4, 2021 from 12:30 PM to 1:00 PM in the Cook Walden Capital Parks Cemetery.
