In this modern age Linda was a beautiful rarity, a modest Christian lady who dearly loved her husband, her children, but above all Jesus. She received immeasurable pleasure from, and dearly loved her grandchildren. Linda also found great joy from her dogs and never missed an opportunity to help a stray.
She is survived by her husband of 42 years Allan; and their two daughters Wendy, her husband Evan & their son Benjamin; Rebecca, her husband Adam & their children Garrett & Makaila; and her sister Joann Whitmire, her husband Jack & their two sons Christopher and James and his daughter Kali.
The visitation will be held from 7:00 to 9:00 PM Friday, August 24, 2012 at Cook Walden/Capital Parks Funeral Home. The Funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, August 25, 2012 at Brentwood Oaks Church of Christ.
