She was born in Lee County, Texas on January 4, 1934 to Horace and Blanche Sheppard.
She was married to Wade Preece, who preceded her in death in 2001.
She was a retired LVN who had a special love of butterflies, scrapbooking, and reading her Bible.
She was a member of Family Worship Center in Luling, Texas.
She was preceded in Death by her parents, sister Vashti Craig, brother Garland Sheppard, husband Wade Preece, daughters Cynthia Lea Preece and Geneva Lois Johnston, one grandson, and one great-grandson.
She is survived by son-in-law G. W. Johnston of Benton, AR; sons James Preece and wife Deborah of Eagle Lake, TX, and Curtis Preece and wife Tami of Richmond, TX; daughters Barbara Graves and husband Rusty of New Ulm, TX, and Carolyn Morgan and husband Lester of Dale TX; 11 grandkids, 19 great-grandkids, and one great-great-grandson.
A visitation for Lois will be held Tuesday, September 28, 2021 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Cook-Walden/Capital Parks Funeral Home, 14501 North Interstate 35, Pflugerville, Texas 78660. Following the visitation will be a graveside service at 12:00 p.m. at Cook-Walden/Capital Parks Cemetery, 14501 North Interstate 35, Pflugerville, Texas 78660.
Serving as pallbearers are David Johnston, Danny Johnston, Daryl Johnston, Tommy Johnston, Jeffery Simpson, James Kittrell and David Chavez.
