Lovie was born on December 9, 1950, in Taylor, TX to Leon and Ola Mae Verse. Lovie attended Booker T. Washington High School in Elgin, TX.
Lovie worked as a supervisor and retired from Austin State Hospital after 28 years.
Lovie married Eddie Fowler and together they built a life and welcomed four children in Austin, TX. Lovie later married Edward Denmon and welcomed four stepchildren and grandchildren.
Lovie enjoyed holidays and spending time with family and friends. Lovie cherished and adored her four children, grandchildren, nieces and nephews and took pride in watching them flourish and grow. Lovie enjoyed volunteering at the pantries, bingo, pottery, scratch off tickets, painting, the casino, the senior recreation center and took great pride in cooking.
Lovie was caring, attentive, helpful, considerate, compassionate, consistent, and very detail oriented. Lovie took great pride in organizing family gatherings and ensuring everything ran smoothly.
Lovie was proceeded in death by her father, Leon (Bo-Chunk) Verse Sr.; husband, Edward Denmon; nephews, Calvin Vincent Jr. and Benjamin Verse.
Lovie leaves to cherish her loving mother, Ola Mae Verse; children, Tracy Fowler (Shana), Lisa Alexander (John), Christopher Fowler (Missy), Bernadette Campbell (Ronald); siblings, Louis Verse (Cheryl), Alice Hope (Marvin), Paula Allen (Larry), Mary Green (Edward), and Leon Verse Jr. Lovie also leaves to cherish 14 grandchildren and a host of great-grandchildren, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family, and friends.
