Mark was born August 10, 1957 in Dallas, Texas, the son of Calvin Arthur and Helen Boulter Green. He had lived in the Austin area for many years, where he had been employed at Cook-Walden/Capital Parks for the past 25 years. During that time, Mark was a vital part of the Cook-Walden family; the impact he had on the families served and the staff is immeasurable.
Mark is survived by his wife: Rebecca Green; Children: Edward Martinez, Jimmy Martinez, Sarah Tubbs, Shannon Edwards and Jason Edwards; Grandchildren: Matthew McGuire, Makayla Keith, Oliva Martinez, Jimmy Martinez Jr., Elena Edwards and Chloe Edwards; Mother: Helen Green; Sister: Cheryl Green; In Laws: Emily and Vicente Ayala and Anita and Jorge Castro.
Visitation will be held in the Memorial Chapel of Cook-Walden/Capital Parks Funeral Home Thursday, March 31, 2016 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm with the recitation of the Rosary beginning at 7:00 pm. Funeral Service will be Friday, April 1, 2016 at 10:00 am in the Memorial Chapel with interment to follow at Santa Maria Cemetery in Pflugerville.
