Mary Louise Heger was born at home on July 12, 1931 in Seguin, Texas to Louis and Frieda Heger as the oldest of three daughters and two sons. After a short illness, she went to heaven on February 24, 2019.
Mary Louise has many fond memories of growing up and spending time with her family in the Seguin and Shiner, Texas areas. Those were some of the best days of her life as she often remarked of how she would give anything to return to the innocence and safety of those times.
After graduating from Seguin High School in 1949, she attended Texas Lutheran College in Seguin. Several years later she moved to San Antonio with her oldest sister and worked for Bexar County as a Title Clerk. As fate would have it, she met Rocco (Rocky) Giardini Revisore who was also a resident in the same apartment complex while he was stationed at the San Antonio Air Force base. The two were married in New Orleans, Louisiana on June 6, 1959.
Mary Louise and Rocky moved to Austin where Mary Louise worked as a Title Clerk for Travis County for many years. This was also when their family began to grow with the birth of twin boys, Rick and Randall in June 1961. The arrival of twins was quite a surprise as Mary Louise remembers that doctors were only able to hear one heartbeat the entire time of her pregnancy. Eighteen months later in January 1963 Mary Louise and Rocky welcomed daughter Laura. Mary Louise and Rocky were married for 27 years before Rocky passed away in 1985.
In August of 1991 she moved to Round Rock to be closer to her children. She kept busy working for various car dealerships in the Austin area. She spent many late nights and weekends sewing wedding & bridesmaid dresses and uniforms for local schools. She loved sewing, crocheting, and many others crafts and spent much of her spare time working on various projects. She also enjoyed spending time with her family and attending the many sporting and school activities of her 9 grandchildren.
After retirement well into her seventies, Mary Louise was introduced to the Baca Center. This was a rebirth for her as she lived for the days of playing cards and dominos. Where most people look forward to the weekend, Mary Louise couldn’t wait for the weekend to end so she could be reunited with her friends to play games during the week. The Center was a blessing to her as well as all the wonderful new people she met who became her friends.
Although her family mourns her loss, they are comforted that she has walked into the lights of Heaven and has been reunited with her husband Rocky and other family members that left before her. Mary Louise is survived by her two sons and daughter and their spouses, Rick & Suzanne Revisore, Randall & Sharon Revisore, Laura and Alan McNeil.
She also leaves behind grandchildren Randi & Pablo Hernandez Schmidt-Tophoff, Nicholas & Danielle Andrade, Ryan & Kait Revisore, Joshua Andrade, Robert (Bob) Revisore, Reagan Revisore, Harrison & Tiffany McNeil, Matthew & Maria McNeil, and Stuart McNeil. She also had four great-grandchildren: Frances Hernandez Schmidt-Tophoff, Avery Andrade, Winfried Hernandez Schmidt-Tophoff, and Emma McNeil. She also leaves behind her four siblings: Barbara Cole, Tony (Joan) Heger, Carolyn (Dennis) Dotter, and Robert (Marcia) Heger and numerous nieces and nephews.
