Mary was a devout Christian and served her Lord at Emmanuel United Methodist Church her entire life. Mary was a devoted mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who enjoyed spending time with her family.
Left to cherish her memories are her two sons, Servando Varela , Jr. and wife Margie and Sam Varela and wife Mary Ann; 3 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
Mary is preceded in death by her husband Servando C. Varela who passed away on January 18, 2010.
Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Friday, October 25, 2013 at Cook-Walden/Capital Parks in Pflugerville. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m., Sunday, October 27, 2013 at Emmanuel United Methodist Church in Austin, Texas. Interment will follow at Cook-Walden/Capital Parks Cemetery in Pflugerville.
