Mary Janice Zeiner was born in Wayne, Michigan on February 21, 1938 and died May 23, 2014 in Austin, Texas. Jan was a very caring and special person who actively participated and volunteered in many venues during her lifetime including her church, elections, scouting, and fundraising for charities. She enjoyed traveling and being with friends and family.
“Family is the gift that lasts forever” Jan was met in heaven by her husband, Joe, her parents, Herb and Irma Walker, her brother, Bill, and her favorite niece, Jenny McGuire.
She is survived by her four sons, John (Laura), Jim (Lisa), Gary (Jennifer) and Joel (Holly), nine grandchildren, six great grandchildren, her sister, Nancy McGuire and nephew, Dave McGuire.
A Memorial Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, May 31st at 1:00 pm at St. Vincent de Paul Church on Neenah in Austin.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Vincent de Paul Church.
