Matthew Brooks, age 67, was carried by God’s holy angels to his eternal home in heaven on Sunday, March 30, 2025. He is safe in the arms of Jesus, our Lord and Savior, in eternity where we will meet him again one day.
Matt was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather and friend. He was a strong man, caring and selfless, always giving and sacrificing himself for others. Matt was special. And there was always laughter; he brightened every room he went into.
He cherished his time with his family. He will be greatly missed by all who were blessed to know him. His physical presence may be gone, but the memories of him will last forever.
Matt was preceded in death by his parents, George and Patricia Brooks. Left to cherish his memory are the love of his life, his wife, Debra Brooks; sons, Matthew Brooks (Kristin), Tyler Brooks (Chelsea) and Lindsay Brooks (Annie); grandchildren, Luc, Noah, Kara and Levi Brooks and Hayden Jackson.
“Very truly I tell you, whoever hears my word and believes him who sent me has eternal life and will not be judged but has crossed over from death to life.” John 5:24
