

Matthew attended St Louis Catholic School, and Manor ISD. He graduated from Manor High School in 2009. He worked numerous jobs until he found the one to build his career on. He worked at Applied Materials for the last several years. He enjoyed the team work and task accomplishments.
Matthew was a loving and caring husband, father, son, brother, uncle, grandson. He treasured his time with Amy and especially Aurora (his baby love). Always making sure they felt his love and devotion to them. Matthew enjoyed playing video games and watching anime with Amy and Aurora. He also enjoyed playing basketball with his close friends Chris and Will. He was always willing to help his parents with projects around the home and willing to help his grandfather with yard work. Most of all he enjoyed family time on Sundays at his grandfather’s and holidays with parents, siblings, cousins, aunts, and uncles. His smile, laugher will be greatly missed.
He is preceded in death by his grandmother Irene R. De La Rosa Sanchez.
He is survived by his wife Amy Peterson, daughter Aurora (Madi), parents Jerry and Patricia Peterson, sister Kristin Peterson, brother Joshua Peterson. Grandparents Angel De La Rosa Jr., Jack Peterson and Janice Peterson. Nieces Makenzi, Paetin, Krista, Hayley, Makenzi, and Brooklynn and nephews Braedin, Mason, Braxton, and Praxton. Also survived by his Aunts and Uncles.
A funeral service for Matthew will be held Saturday, February 25, 2023, 10:00 a.m., at Cook-Walden/Capital Interstate Parks Funeral Home, 14501 North Interstate 35, Pflugerville, Texas 78660.
