Meiqulandes Tiofilo Fernandes, also known as Melquiades or Mike, was a shining beacon of love in so many lives. He loved his family, especially his wife Melanie Fernandes, more than life itself. He was passionate about his family, faith, and living in service to others. Born in St Estevam, Goa on 10th December 1947, he passed on to the next life on 21st October 2024 in Austin, Texas. He will be dearly missed by many. The funeral will take place on 30th October 2024.
He is survived by his wife Melanie, his four sons, and their families:

- Mark & Tracy, and their children Emma & Noah
