She is preceded in death by her parents, her sisters Zelma Morse and Gladys Doris McCutchen, her brothers Raymond, Vernon, Ellis, Bailey, Murland, Norman, and Eldridge McCutchen.
Those left behind to cherish her memory are her husband, John A. Parker, her brother, Bob McCutchen, her daughters, Linda Marney and Carol Parker, her sons, Johnny, Brian, and Clarence Parker, 14 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Melba was a loving and devoted wife, mother, nanny, and grand-nanny. She will be greatly missed as a woman of faith and intercessory prayer warrior.
Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, August 3, 2010 at The Church of Glad Tidings located at 2700 Northland Drive, Austin, Texas. Interment will follow at Cook-Walden/ Capital Parks Cemetery in Pflugerville, Texas.
