Nadlyn Marie Alexander, a loving mother, sister, daughter, aunt and friend was born January 16, 1965, in Austin, Texas to Dennis and Edna Harris Alexander and passed away on October 7, 2025, at the age of 60. She surrounded herself around children; teaching, caring and loving them as her own. Nadlyn was very family oriented, she was a motivator, leader, problem solver, encourager, and mentor.
She was a loyal friend, very outgoing and had a smile that would light up a room; She had a genuine heart of gold and would give you the shirt off her back. She was the glue that held the pieces together. She enjoyed grilling on the beach and taking trips with family no matter the distance. She enjoyed riding her bikes and had an eye for beauty.
Nadlyn was a member of St. Stephens Missionary Baptist Church and is survived by her twin daughters, Kayla and Kyla Alexander; brothers, Chance and Dennis Alexander; nieces, Demetre Milligan, Alecia and Aylin Alexander; great nephews, Jaylenn and Julian Milligan; parents, Dennis and Edna Alexander along with a great amount of other loving family and friends residing in Austin, Houston, Atlanta and Oklahoma.
Funeral services will be held October 24, 2025, at St. Stephens Missionary Baptist Church at 11:00am, with burial following at Cook Walden Capital Parks Cemetery. Visitation will be held, October 23, 2024, at Cook Walden Capital Parks Funeral Home from 4:00pm until 8:00pm.
Serving as pallbearers will be Chance Alexander, Clarence Wiltz, Shelton Bright, Deon Barnes, Reggie Milligan and Demetrius Neal.
