Nam Phuong Vo

Nam, a beloved wife and mother, is survived by her husband Chau, son Nhien, daughter-in-law Emmi.

Nam's siblings include: Lan Vo, husband Cuong Nguyen, and children; Thong Vo and son; Nhung Nguyen; Nguyen Vo and Chuc Nguyen; Minh Vo, wife Kim Anh Vu, and children; Phu Vo, wife Huong Ha, and children; Quy Vo, wife Ha Vu, and children; Thang Vo, wife Kim Ngoc Le, and children; Loi Vo, husband Thuat Duong, and son; the brothers and sisters of Chau Nguyen: Luu Nguyen, wife Phuong Kieu, and children; Loan Nguyen; Loi Nguyen, husband Ba Nguyen, and children; Bich Nguyen, husband Phuc Dang, and children; Thuy Nguyen; Cuong Nguyen, wife Uyen Thanh, and children.

Nam was born and raised in Saigon, Vietnam and immigrated to America in 1991 with her family and siblings. She settled in Austin and built a wonderful life for her family, always putting the needs of others before herself.

Nam had a great passion for life and especially loved traveling the world with her husband. Her favorite destination was Paris but she also loved cruises.

She had a caring, gracious attitude towards others and a great appreciation for natural beauty. Her hobbies included cooking, swimming, shopping, and gardening. Her family and friends were blessed with her good humor and unconditional love for them. Her positive outlook on life was felt by all and she will be deeply missed.

Visitation will be held at Cook-Walden Capital Parks Funeral Home in Pflugerville, Texas. Times are as follows:

Friday, July 1, 2011 from 2:00 PM - 8:00 PM

Saturday, July 2, 2011 from 8:00 AM - 6:00 PM

Sunday, July 3, 2011 from 8:00 AM - 10:00 AM

Services will begin in the Memorial Chapel of Cook-Walden Capital Parks Funeral Home at 10:00 AM Sunday, July 3, 2011. She will be laid to rest at Cook-Walden/Capital Parks Cemetery immediately following.
