Very Sad..  Nancy was my friend.. met her in Puerto Rico on a FEMA Deployment.   texted almost every day since.      she will be missed ..   Rest In Peace Nancy.

I have known my friend Nancy since high school, she was a twirler and I was on the drill team.  
We reconnected several years ago, and a group  of us from high school began meeting to have breakfast together at café 290 in Manor on Saturday or Sunday.
I was able to see her briefly one Sunday a couple of months ago, I’m so thankful I was able to see her that day.
You will be greatly missed my friend.

You sat right next to me for months while working in Puerto Rico, you made me laugh and be patient.  You were kind, gentle, generous and thoughtful.  Always happy at work and in life. You will never be forgotten.

We will miss you. 

I knew Nancy from high school. We used to get ready together for football games - her in her sparkly twirling uniform and me in my band uniform. She was like a big sister, sharing make-up and hair tips along with stories and jokes. I was the geeky girl that she took under her wing. She reached out to me just recently, this July, via Facebook and I was so thrilled to reconnect with her.  You are missed, dear Nancy, and are not forgotten. I hope you’re at peace and still sparkling. 

Me and Nancy went to Manor High School and played in the band. Nancy you are so cool, I cannot believe your gone. I will miss you my friend. Especially all the stuff you would send me on fb and Tx. July was the last time we spoke and I know you told me your mom passed away too.... I wish I could call you again. Love you my friend and classmate.

Nancy was everyone's best friend. She was always kind, compassionate,  generous and concerned about others. She was curious and loved to learn. She enjoyed sharing her knowledge with others. Eccentric and funny, she was a joy to be around. The world has less sparkle now. I will miss her every day.  

I knew Nancy's parents from the time I was a little boy. My father and her father worked together and were very good friends.  As a result,  Nancy's mom and my mom spent a lot of time together. I knew Nancy from the time she was a little girl and over the years since. She helped my parents in many ways before they passed. I always enjoyed being around Nancy and am grateful for the last 10 years that we were neighbors as adults. I will miss her every day. 

Nancy you were always a delight to be around, Such a happy and upbeat soul you were. God Bless .

Dear Nancy, You were the joy that helped us to endure long hours of work.  With sweetness and kindness you won everyone's heart.  Thank you for the words of encouragement in times of need and for good conversations.  My heart is sad but I know that now you are already next to your mother in a better place.  I will miss you a lot. Rest in peace dear friend.

What a kind and happy soul! What a loss! I worked with Nancy many times in FEMA.  You will be missed by many, Nancy.  Thoughts and prayers for your family.

Nancy, I will miss you so very much my friend, you were behind me in High School. I will miss our chats, and phone calls. I was so shocked to hear the news that you went to be with our Lord & Savior. I know you will love seeing you're loved ones there with you.
Tell my parents I love and miss them too, as I do you... We will meet again one day, save a spot for me when I come home and we will visit again, and share forever in heaven .

I have known Nancy since Junior high 6 grade.  She was a very loving and caring person. I will always have great memories of her and the friendship we had. RIP Nancy until we meet again  

My deepest condolences to family memebers of Nancy. She was kind hearted and always there when you needed her. My best memory of her was when she laughed that one had no choice but to laugh along with her. I will miss our conversations and her text messages. We had so much in common. Nancy, see you in the other side.

I first met Nancy in April 1986 at Fema in New Orleans...our friendship just seemed to hit it off...she was working for one of the head honchos in the office...
Eventually she had got over to the inspection side and we did inspections together over in the 9th ward...She was smart and great to work with...one day she told me how she came to be a Christian...She had set out to read the Bible from beginning to end with the intent of proving that there was not a GOD...she told me 
that by the time she finished reading the Bible, she had proven to herself that there was a GOD...
I immediately said to her, Nancy that is one very powerful testimony that you have just told me...she is in Heaven and enjoying
GOD AND JESUS'S LOVE...Many conversations took place over the phone through the years and I was always delighted to hear her voice on the other end of the line...Anyone who knew her and her sweet personality will miss her ...I am just glad that she considered me to be her Friend...
It is hard to imagine that only a few days ago she was trying to 
carry on a conversation with me, and I told her when she got to coughing bad, "Nancy we can continue this conversation when you feel better."   She was a sweet lady...




Nancy was a dear friend I will miss. Our paths didn't cross until Spring 2019, but I am Thankful for her friendship.  We enjoyed a few meals out of unlimited chatting.  As fellow pet owners, her dog was of my concern.  Her newest  enterprise had just begun of flavored cooking vanilla.  She had just gotten a batch completed.  Forever amazed at the number of tasks she juggled. I know she struggled missing her Mom. Comforting to know they are together again. Boldly spread your wings my friend, and fly high in heaven.
