Pauline Santos Galindo

Pauline Santos Galindo was welcomed into the arms of her Heavenly Father on March 3, 2014. She was born on June 22, 1927 in Elgin, TX to Uvaldino & Irene Santos. Pauline married Ramon Galindo when he returned home from WWII in 1946.

She is survived by her husband of 67 years, Ramon; her brothers Uvaldino Santos, Jr. (Doris) of Nebraska, David Santos (Lupe) of Elgin, Robert Santos (Emily) of San Antonio, her sister-in-law Mary Santos, her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and nieces and nephews.

Pauline was preceded in death by her parents, her brother Isidro Santos of Austin, and her baby sister Irene Santos.

For 29 years, Pauline was the credit manager for Snyder-Chenards boutique in downtown Austin. In addition, she was a bookkeeper for her husband Ramon’s business, Ace Custom Tailors.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, March 6, 2014 from 6:00 – 8:00 pm at Cook-Walden Capital Parks Funeral Home in Pflugerville.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, March 7, 2014 at 10:00 am at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Cook-Walden Capital Parks Cemetery in Pflugerville.
