Rhonda was born February 7, 1965, in Sumter, SC. She and her three siblings lived overseas for five years until the family decided to call Austin, TX, home.
Rhonda graduated from LBJ High School in 1983, and she went into office work for multiple companies for 20-plus years. Her hobbies included baking, crocheting, netting, and reading books.
She is survived by her son, Lawrance N. Ballard of Austin; her mother, Olivia W. Ballard of Austin; and her three siblings: Donna K. Ballard Carter of Austin, David L. Ballard of Manor, and Calvin Ballard III of Austin, as well as many friends and close relatives.
Visitation will be held at Cook-Walden/Capital Parks Funeral Home, 14501 North Ih-35, Pflugerville, TX 78660, US, on May 12, 2026, from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm.
