May he rest in eternal peace.
Special memories from his family:
In his free time, Robert found his greatest joy in being with his family—especially his grandchildren, who held such a special place in his heart. He loved the simple comforts of life: sitting outside, taking naps, watching golf tournaments, and cheering on his beloved Dallas Cowboys.
Robert was more than just a provider—he was the rock of his family. Whether it was lending a hand, offering advice, or simply being present when he was needed, he was always there. He worked at The Lithoprint Co. for 35 years, from 1966 to 2001, and continued his career as a printer at Ginny’s Printing until his retirement in 2017. His dedication, reliability, and strong work ethic were qualities he carried in every part of his life.
He also had a wonderful way of sticking to his routines, finding peace and comfort in the familiarity of them. Robert loved making his family laugh with his jokes and stories. And though he was never a fan of cold weather, his famous “Big Bertha” jacket became a symbol of warmth and comfort—something his family will always remember fondly.
Throughout his 50-year marriage to his beautiful wife, Annie, Robert spent countless hours dancing, sharing joy, and creating memories that will last a lifetime. Their love was a true partnership, one built on devotion, humor, and a deep respect for one another.
Thank you, Dad. Thank you, Grandpa. Thank you for the love, the laughter, and the countless lessons you’ve given us. Your presence will be missed more than words can ever say. But the love you shared with us will live on, and we will carry you in our hearts forever. We love you.
