She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Ernest, and two brothers: Edwin Barnett and Robert Barnett.
She leaves behind her two daughters: Kathryn Kistner (Doc) of Round Rock, TX; Sandra Sjolander (Garry) of Fairfield Bay, AR; and son Randall Holt-Woehl (Hollie) of Becker, MN. She had three grandchildren: Justin Crabtree (Jenna), Nicholas Holt-Woehl (Jessica), and Micah; and two great grandchildren: Noah and Amethyst. She also leaves behind her sister, Mary Ann Goff (Marshall) of Cleveland, TX.
Ruth was a long-time member of St. Martin’s Ev. Lutheran Church in Austin, TX. She retired from the U.S. Postal Service in 1992.
She will be greatly missed by her friends and family, as she was kind and compassionate to all.
No services will be held, only a private family-only graveside burial.
