

Stephen (Steve) Maurice Beckham, age 35, passed away on Sunday, July 27th, 2025. Stephen was born in El Paso, Texas on November 3rd, 1989, and was a graduate of L.C. Anderson High School in Austin Texas in 2008. Stephen was unmarried.
Stephen started his life journey in El Paso TX, then Lubbock, and finally Austin Texas.
Family was very important to Stephen, and he demonstrated this through action and deed. From his sister to his cousins and friends, he spared no effort to pull laughter from them via prank, joke or joy.
Stephen was an accomplished cook, and enjoyed camping, traveling, spending time with his friends, family, and playing with the beloved Pets; Cella, Snickers, Peaches, Angie, and Nike. He earned the rank of Eagle Scout during his youth. Stephen learned Hebrew, and Arabic; being able to speak, read, and write in each. He did this to be closer to various friends he cherished. He was working on Russian.
When not tending to family, Stephen had to tend to himself. His health was poor and unrelenting, often leaving him spent. He taught us all what tough means, as he worked through the highs and lows.
Stephen became a fan of the simple things in life, warmth, food, peace, and companionship.
Stephen is survived by his parents Hilton and Maria Beckham of Austin TX, sister Michaela D. Beckham of Austin TX, his Grand Mother Peggy Sue Beckham of Austin TX, and many loving aunts, uncles, cousins.
A celebration of Life and reception will be held Saturday, August 9th starting 10AM – 11:30AM at Cook-Walden/Capital Parks Funeral Home & Cemetery, 14501 North Ih-35, Pflugerville, TX 78660.
After the event, a reunion will be held for family and friends at The Ben-Hur Shriners Temple. 7811 Rockwood Ln., Austin, TX 78757 from 12:30-5:30pm.
