Wayne Reimer, 83, of Fort Collins, Colorado, passed away peacefully on October 14, 2025. Wayne was born on August 24, 1942, in Oenaville, Texas, to his loving parents, Arnold and Esther Reimer. After attending Stamford High School, Wayne earned a Bachelor of Science in business from Southwest Texas State University.
Enjoying a successful career spanning decades in business, Wayne served as a regional vice president of sales for Baxter Healthcare Supplies. He married the love of his life, Scarlett, in Austin, Texas, on May 28, 1964.
Wayne loved the outdoors. He was happiest when hiking and flyfishing throughout the Western United States and when golfing with many friends across the U.S. He and Scarlett also enjoyed traveling the world to places like the Caribbean, Europe, and Costa Rica. In later years, he began studying botany to learn about the plants he saw while hiking. He also loved serving others in the Sertoma organization.
Those who knew Wayne will remember him for his lively humor, warm smile, generous spirit, and unwavering commitment to spreading love and kindness to everyone he encountered. He had a rare gift for making others feel loved and cared for, leaving a lasting impact on all who crossed his path.
Wayne is predeceased by his loving wife, Scarlett, of 55 years, their son, Todd, and their daughter, Robin. He is survived by his devoted daughter, Renee Perschau and her husband Erik; his three grandchildren, Robert, Katherine, and Megan; and his sisters- and brothers-in-law, Barbara and Sidney Struss, and Milton and Linda O’Dell.
Celebration of Life services will be held at Cook-Walden/Capital Parks in Pflugerville, Texas, on Friday, October 24, 2025. Visitation begins at 1:00, service at 2:00, graveside service at 3:00, with a reception following.
