She is survived by her husband, James Gurkin of Round Rock; daughter Robin Gurkin of Round Rock; son Joseph Gurkin (Carrie) of Schertz; siblings Arthur C. Lopez (Teresa) of Austin, Morris C. Lopez (Rosalinda) of Austin, and Marie Rivera of Pflugerville; her grandchildren Lucille Frances Gurkin and Juliet James Gurkin of Schertz; her nieces Andrea (Annie) Rivera of Pflugerville, Stephanie Lyzette Noack (Jacob) of Austin, and Krystal Rose Pisanda (Jonathan) of Austin; and her nephews, Morris Lopez, Jr. of Dallas, Arturo Lopez (Holly) of Austin, and Miguel Lopez (Letitica)of Pflugerville.
A funeral service for Yolanda will be held Saturday, May 21, 2022 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Cook-Walden/Capital Parks Funeral Home, 14501 North Ih-35, Pflugerville, TX 78660.
