For Enaye relationships mattered. I recall whenever we came back for vacation from the Bible Academy the first day we were back she would send us out to say hello to relatives and friends in Bedeno. That was about half of that small town. Once we were back she checked who we met and if somebody was missed she would send us out again.

She kept up the tradition to the end. Whenever I visited her in US she did remind me to call relatives and friends and yes she did check who I called.

Enaye was a natural manager. As a young boy in grade school and even into my
teen years in high school, I recall being terrified whenever our Dad was down some times for days in pain with kidney stones. As a first born I was not ready for family responsibility. I had no idea what to do if anything happened to him. But each time our Dad was down Enaye would step up and competently managed a retail store, a flour mill and a small coffee farm. I took great comfort in that and was always amazed.

Her greatest joy once she learned to read and write late in life was reading her Bible. What a blessing to have a praying mother. We celebrate her life and we thank the Lord she is with him and no longer in pain. But she is surely missed on this side of eternity.

Why does it hurt so much?
It is the measure of having loved that much!
Why is there loss?
No! To live is for Christ but to die is GAIN!
Father, please take me...why did He respond so promptly? By taking her, did you
forget us?
Her soul that the Creator collected in His hand
Is the soul that is now celebrating ...
And the same hand has your name inscribed in it...
Embedded in the etches of the fingerprints of His mercy
The same hands that stretched out on the cross so that all who love Him
will remain in them forever!
This world is fallen and the suffering is too much to bear!
It is the reminder that this is not your home
There is more than this life
There is hope that echoes into eternity
A Joy that is planted in the midst of grief
A peaceful stillness in the midst of a tumultuous storm
A longing that is satisfied in the recognition of My favour upon you
It is well; I have overcome the world; I have laid death in his grave ...forever!
Rest in my loving embrace and know that I am with you ...forever!
I love you ...forever!
