Served during World War II in the Army Air Corps as a photographer, and he retired from Eastman Kodak after 31 years in the advertising dept and with Recordak.
Gerald was preceded into the arms of Jesus by his wife of 58 years, Aline (Hall), also born in Rochester, NY. Both Gerald and Aline leave the highest legacy of unconditional love and faith to all whose lives they touched. They served as members of Emmanuel Lutheran Church, Rochester, NY, and later as members of Shepherd of the Desert Lutheran Church, Sun City, AZ. What greater treasure can be bestowed on anyone than the examples of faith in Jesus Christ lived each day. Rich in unconditional love, service to others and kindness to all, we are who we are because of them.
Both will be missed on earth but live eternally in heaven. We look forward to our family reunion!
Psalms 78:3-4 Which we have heard and known, and our fathers have told us. We will not hide them from their children, showing to the generation to come the praises of the Lord, and his strength, and his wonderful works that he hath done.
Psalms 27:1 The Lord is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? The Lord is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?
