Allen Leo Allman

Allen Leo Allman, of Phoenix Arizona, passed away on June 8, 2025, at the age of 92. He was born October 29, 1932 in Coshocton, Ohio, son of Leo and Leila Allman, who preceded him in death. He worked for the Ohio Power Company (now AEP), for 30 years. In 1981, he and his wife Colleen moved to Phoenix Arizona, where he retired from APS after 15 years. After his retirement, they enjoyed 15 years of traveling in their motor home, as well as a number of cruises. Allen was a veteran of the Korean War from 1951 - 1955 as an electrician in the Navy Seabees, and was a member of the American Legion Post 105.

He is survived by his wife Colleen (Bowers) of 72 plus years, daughters Debbie of Phoenix, AZ, and Patty (Steve) Bell of Lima, OH, a son Rick (Joy) of Phoenix AZ, a sister Nancy Swaggard of Louisville, OH, a sister in law Joan Fitch of Coshocton, OH, 3 granddaughters Angie, Skye, and Sara, 4 grandsons Benn, Chad, Izack, and Richard, 6 great-granddaughters Brianna, Aspen, Abigail, Ariel, Amaya and Letty, 4 great-grandsons Jacob, Zack, Geo, Kaleb and 1 great-great-granddaughter Ruby, and many nieces and nephews.

Allen was preceded in death by three brothers, Ed, Bob, and Wilbur, five sisters, Mary, Wini, Trudy, Dotty, and Generose, 1 granddaughter Staci, 1 grandson Ricky, 1 great-granddaughter Trinity, and 1 great-grandson Brendon, and a loving daughter-in-law Denise.

A visitation for Allen will be held Monday, June 16, 2025 from 5:00 PM at Phoenix Memorial Park and Mortuary, 200 West Beardsley Road, Phoenix, Arizona with a rosary service at 7pm. A Funeral Mass will occur Tuesday, June 17, 2025 from 11:00 AM at Our Lady of the Valley Catholic Church , 3220 W Greenway Rd, Phoenix, Arizona. A graveside service will occur Tuesday, June 17, 2025 from 12:30 PM at Holy Redeemer Cemetery, 23015 Cave Creek Rd, Phoenix, Arizona.
