A year has passed and still I weep. This is the time of year to give thanks. Thank you dear brother for our lifetime of love.

Although I never knew you--I knew your daughter Missie and her kids---I know how much she misses you---may you now rest in peace and be out of pain--and know that everyone who loved you will always have you in their heart and their memories.

Al was a great supervisor and friend to all who knew him. He will be greatly missed by all!

As the days and weeks pass, and as you return to life's routine, may you continue to feel comforted by the love and support of family and friends. You will be missed Coach.

My father was a gentle and caring man who touched everyones heart. He will be remebered and missed everyday of our lives. We will miss your jokes and laughter. And I will see you again.

Al, I am truly grateful for our time together. You brought a wonderful family into this world and made me feel as though I was a part of it. Thank you for being the father figure that I needed in my life. Rest in peace, my friend.

I will miss you "Baby Al" with whom I shared many memories, happy and sad. We did a lot together, some things are part of family lore and others are (and probably will always be) known only by you and I. I will say good bye in the words of one of your favorite singers The Circle Will Be Unbroken Bye and Bye Lord Bye and Bye. I will see you then. Your big brother.

We will miss you Brother Al.  You have the biggest heart and smoothest sense when things were good and when times were tough.  No matter what the situation, you always had a laugh, a smile, and a good idea accented by your impeccible wry wit. God bless you.
