Hey guys, just wanted to send you my sympathies. Tracey let me know but I forgot about this website. I know you will miss her as I still miss mom too. Anyway love to you all.

It's hard to lose someone you love so dearly.   I thank God for the time he allowed you and your family to share with this precious woman.  You are all on my mind, in my heart, and in my prayers.

Eulogy given at Mom's funeral:
As my sister and I watched our mother slowly passing what was going through our minds?

The days of childhood with our mother playing baseball, singing songs, card games we played, drive in movies with home made popcorn with lots of butter, our excitement of opening a fresh whole coconut and having our "healthy" dessert "cantaloupe with ice cream".

Mom always loved ice cream, if you notice the picture we have in our slide presentation the sign is so appropriate.  "There is nothing wrong with me that a little ice cream won't fix!" In fact her last meal she enjoyed was ice cream.

Mom loved to roller skate and dance she could really jitter bug.  I must say she did try teaching Candy and I but we both have two left feet.

We think back on her life with all of it's ups and downs and how she persevered through it all, Candy and I got our drive and tenacity to carry on from her.

During the process of getting all the arrangements made for mom Candy and I realized that because of her illness she had lost some of the spark of humor she had and we forgot how funny mom could be.  Going through the years of pictures brought that all rushing back to us and it was bitter sweet.

Candy and I feel fortunate that we were able to be with our mother during her last days.  We were able to speak with her and cry with her and she even comforted Candy and I telling us not to worry.  We are so very grate full for that time together.

"Mom, we thought of you today, but that is nothing new.  We thought of you yesterday and will tomorrow too.  We think of you in silence and make no outward show. For what it meant to lose you only those who love you know.  Remembering you is easy, we do it every day.  It's the heartache of losing you that will never go away."

Vickie, George, Candy, Roger and to the entire family:  Our deepest condolences in your time of sorrow.  May your mother rest in peace and may you always remember the beautiful memories that bring a smile to your face!  Thinking of you during this time.  Love, Victor, Melinda & Viana
