Barbara "Nana" Gonzalez, 83, of Phoenix, born April 9, 1929, passed away on Saturday, October 20, 2012 with family by her side. She rose to join her beloved husband, Lauro, son Larry, daughters Carmen & Nina Susie, and grandchildren Alejandro & Angel Valadez in heaven for a long awaited hug. Barbara is survived by 27 grandchildren, 32 great-grandchildren, her baby brother Frank (Pauline) Bustamante, daughters Josie (Israel) Gallardo, Connie (David) Valadez, Pammy (Martin) Flores and sons, Jimmy (Gloria) Gonzalez, Tommy (Maria) Gonzalez and Frank (Dahlia) Gonzalez. She will also be missed dearly by her 4 "chosen" grandchildren, extended family and many bingo buddies. Visitation will be held Thursday, 25th of October from 6:00pm-8:00pm with Rosary at 7:00pm at A. L. Moore Grimshaw Mortuary located at 710 W. Bethany Home Road, Phoenix, AZ 85013. Mass will be Friday, October 26th at 10:00am at St. Anthony's Catholic Church, with procession immediately following to St. Francis Cemetery.
