Barbara Neff McManigle

Barbara Neff McManigle of Phoenix, Arizona passed away on Saturday, September 30, 2023 at the age of 89. Barbara was born on June 16, 1934 in Andalusia, Pennsylvania, the daughter of the late Watson W. and Hester N. (Johnson) Wright. Barbara graduated from Bensalem Township High School in Pennsylvania.

She worked as a Police Dispatcher in Pennsylvania as well as in Arizona for the Paradise Valley Police Department and the Maricopa County Sheriff’s Department. Barbara was actively involved in the Bucks County Rescue Squad in Bristol, PA, the Paradise Valley Police Officers Association , as well as the Red Cross.

Barbara was a loving grandmother and great grandmother. She was preceded in death by her husband Paul McManigle; her son James Lands; her sister Hester Wright; and her parents Watson and Hester Wright. She is survived by her sons Charles Lands of Virginia and Robert Lands of North Carolina.

The family would like to thank the staff at Silver Bells Adult Care Home for the care and compassion they showed our Barbara in her final days.
