

Benedict (Ben) Kulina, Sr., 82 - passed away on January 26, 2016. He was born on January 14, 1934, in Garfield Heights, Ohio. He served in the US Air Force as an airplane mechanic, holding the rank of Staff Sergeant. While in the military he was stationed at Chanute Air Force Base in Illinois; and, Sheppard Air Force Base in Texas. During his last year in the military he had the opportunity to be stationed in the United Kingdom on a temporary duty assignment for one year. While in the military he received the National Defense Service and Good Conduct medals. Ben worked at Garret/AlliedSignal as a Data Analyst, and retiring in September 1999 after 42 years with the company. Ben married Peggy Derocher in 1959 and had 4 children. Since then many grandchildren were added to the family. He is survived by Peggy (wife), Susan (daughter), Sharon (daughter), Ben (son), Dan (son), Aaron, Joshua, Stephanie, Sarah, Megan, Michelle, Joey and Danielle (grandchildren), Joan (sister), Anthony (brother), and many nieces, nephews and cousins. We thank God for the time we had with him and his love is with us always. Services will be held in a private memorial service for the immediate family.
