Mrs. Beneranda Caro Chavez (Bennie), age 86, went to be with our Heavenly Father at the home of her daughter, Geraldine Amaral, in Phoenix, Arizona, on Thursday, April 7, 2011. Born April 22, 1924, in St. Johns, Arizona, she lived in St. Johns, McNary, Morenci, Flagstaff before settling in Phoenix. She was as a homemaker. Bennie taught Catechism numerous years at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church and was a volunteer at Kuban Elementary School. Survivors include her children, Alfred (Rosie), Lucy Ann (Nicolas), Geraldine, Ray (Barbara), Tricia (Chris). 17 Grand Children, and 28 Great Grand Children. Bennie was preceded in death by her husband Alberto, her son Tony and, Son-In Law Robert.
