Betty J. Smith passed away on February 27, 2018. She was born April 14, 1929 in Lake Charles, LA to Oliver & Ethel Guillory. She moved to Phoenix in 1948. Betty retired from the Department of Public Safety. Her husband, Bill Smith, predeceased her in 1993. She is survived by a sister Marilyn Hartman and a brother Robert Guillory & numerous nieces & nephews. Betty loved to read & discuss current events. For many years, she volunteered at Age Link at the Beatitudes where she loved caring for the babies. She will be missed by family & friends, especially those at Fellowship Square. Graveside Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on March 9, 2018 at Resthaven Memorial Park 6450 West Northern Avenue Glendale, AZ. A Celebration of Life and Memorial Service will be held at a later date at Fellowship Square. Arrangements are entrusted to A.L. Moore-Grimshaw Mortuary 710 West Bethany Home Road Phoenix, AZ.
