

Chaplain Dan officiated a memorial service which was held on February 15, 2013 at Cook Healthcare in Youngtown, Arizona. At Carols' request, she will be cremated and her remains will be scattered in two places most dear to her, the Blue Ridge mountains-"anywhere that looks cool", according to her and in Hawaii near the U.S.S. Arizona, the burial site of her father, Ensign Theodore L. Nowosacki, w'ho died in Pearl Habor on December 7, 1941. Sadly, as her father died before she was
born, Carol never had the chance to meet her father in person.
Carol was born in New York City on March 1, 1942. She graduated from Millbrook High School in 1960 and continued to
study art at Orange Community College.
Carol was married to Bruce Harold Robideau in Millbrook, New York on 1962, from whom she was divorced in 1972. Carol's
family owned a horse and pony farm in Millbrook, New York and her stepfather, William A, Sahlin together with the family,
raised Shetland Ponies for show at the farm on Standfordville Lane, Millbrook, N.Y.
Carol worked for many years in Stamford, Connecticut with Neptune Computer Leasing Company and with Custom X-Ray
in Phoenix, Arizona until her retirement in 2009. Carol developed a love for riding motorcycles and travel the east coast and
southwest regions on the back of her bike. She was always a free spirit and will be remembered for her sense of
adventure.she was an avid collector of "things" and many commented on her collections tastefully displayed in her homes
Carol is survived by her children and their spouses; Bruce Scott & June Robideau of New Milford,CT; Jeninne Robideau of Chandler,AZ; Dana & John Buffin (Robideau) of Dubai, United Arab Emirates, grandchildren Lauren and Jaden Robideau
of New Milford, Ct; her sibling and their spouses;Bruce& Joyce Jensen of Kailua, HI Pamela & Micheal Dolan of Hillard,
FL; Rick & Pat Sahlin of Boca Raton, FL, Theordore& Julie Sahlin of Liberty, MI and David & Cathy Berg of Glendale, Az
who lovingly cared for Carol as she deteriorated. She is survived by several nieces and nephews.
Carol recieved abundant joy from her two Shih Tzu dogs, Otis and Mindy, both of whom pre-decease her. It is due to her profund love of her furry friends that in lieu of flowers memorial donations may be given to;
