Bennett, Charlotte Joyce 67, of Phoenix passed away on March 25th, 2017 after losing her battle with cancer. Joy was born at St Joseph's Hospital in Phoenix in 1949. She was preceded in death by her father Charles Ray McClendon. Joy is survived by her husband of 47 years Jan, her children Jill Bennett (Jim), Jewely Bennett-Hallberg (Scott), John Bennett (Kelly), grandsons Johnny and Skyler Bennett, her mother Ruth (Brown) McClendon, sister Carolyn Werbelo and numerous nieces and nephews. She loved to travel and especially enjoyed family vacations on the beaches in Mexico. Joy also loved having the family gather at her home for special events or just to have a cookout. Graveside services will be on April 3rd at 10:00AM at Phoenix Memorial Park, 200 W. Beardsley Rd, Phoenix AZ.
