Christopher Patrick Montemarano

Born February 15th, 1956 in Brooklyn, NY to Adam F. Montemarano and Ninfa Maltese Montemarano. He was the youngest of four siblings.

Chris always had said he survived South Brooklyn by being tough with kindness. His passion for fitness and exercise brought him to be a supervisor at the Downtown Athletic Club In NYC, where he helped everyone from famous folks to everyday folks, with all aspects of fitness training.

Chris moved to Arizona in the the 1990's. His next passion was all things Marvel Comics. He and his best friend started a comic shop. An opportunity to share his knowledge and enjoyment of Marvel Comics with all who visited his store. And then there are so many stories in between.

Yet most importantly, Chris first passion was the love of his life. His wife Kimberly Montemarano. Together for 15 years, they were very much devoted to each other. Facing adversities and tough times, knowing how much they were in love, would overcome any obstacle.

I wish you to know, that Chris Montemarano was an amazing man. His kindness, generosity, appreciation of life love and friends, and sense of humor never wavered no matter what. To me, Kim Montemarano, he was my world, my North Star. Now I am lost without him. I ask of those who knew him to celebrate his life. Share your stories and your memories of him.
