I sit here almost 2 years later and everyday I remember the panic I had rushing to the hospital. I'm sure I broke every traffic law there was that night but nothing mattered but you. I arrived just as the nurse came out to say you were relocating to Heaven and I didn't know what to do for months. Still to this day. I stood next to you for hours holding your hand (even though nurses told me not to.) I kissed you on your forehead before I left because Dad still tried to go to work the next day trying to keep you proud. I lasted 10 min. And had to leave. The day I carried you to your final spot I will never forget. It's not supposed to be this way I told myself. I would switch with you in a moment. Then i have to remember I can't.... I have to stay here on Earth while you watch me "flex" as I told you to always do when you were hurt. You my boy are much stronger than me. You taught me so much and I struggle daily to try to accept things I cannot change. I love you with everything I can offer and more. I'll come see you soon hopefully until then I will keep visiting you. "DOUBLE KNUCKLES, DOUBLE HIGH FIVE, BOOM!" -Your Other Dad XOXO
