David Joseph Glielmi, 55, left for Heaven, January 1, 2017 after an 8 year battle with PLS. A loving father, survived by 5 children; Zachary, Joshua, Sara, Nicholas and Rachel; and granddaughter Rayne.
David was born January 9, 1961 in Chicago, IL. The son of Dorothea and the late Lawrence Glielmi. Brother to Gary (Patricia), Regina (Daniel) Fike, Angela, Arlene (Mark)Hopkins, Lynne (Brian) Horvath, Larry (Vany), Mary Ann (Bill) Ornelas, the late Anthony, Robert (Jymie) and Thomas.
David spent the majority of his successful career with Cisco Systems as an International Accounts Manager. His impeccable work ethic, kindness and great sense of humor made an impact on everyone he encountered.
He was an avid sports fan and loved the Chicago Blackhawks, Arizona Coyotes, and Chicago Cubs.
His life and purpose on this Earth were his children. He was a great provider, leader, teacher, mentor and forever their hero.
Funeral Mass will be Tuesday, January 10, 11:00 am, St. Patrick's Church, 10815 N. 84th St., Scottsdale, Arizona;
Will then be laid to rest, Paradise Memorial Cemetery, 9300 E. Shea Blvd., Scottsdale, Arizona
