Dave was born to George Milhoan and Ruth Livingston in Amarillo, TX. Before retirement, Dave’s professional career included years of owning a computer software development and consulting company known as Centric Data Systems.
Dave will be remembered most for his love and generosity toward family and friends, his unique sense of humor, and for his powerful athleticism. He could always make us laugh with some of the world’s greatest Dad jokes, which were spontaneously conceived and shared daily. He possessed a creative wit and love of puns, and with those traits he taught his children and grandchildren to seek joy and love laughter. His love for physical activity and the outdoors were expressed throughout his life in football, motocross, and extreme hiking activities including Seven Summit Challenges and Grand Canyon hikes.
Mr. Milhoan is preceded in death by his loving wife of 37 ½ years, Mary Katherine Milhoan. He is survived by his son, Nathan (Anna) Milhoan, daughter, Kirsten (Shane) Grebel, and two grandchildren, Justice and Warner Milhoan.
In accordance with his wishes, there will be no formal services. His resting place will be alongside Mary at Greenwood Memory Lawn Cemetery in Phoenix, AZ. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the ALS Association at als.org.
Fond memories and expressions of sympathy may be shared at www.Greenwoodmemorylawn.com for the Milhoan family.
