

Delmor Pavan, age 85, of Phoenix, passed away on Saturday, February 10, 2018. He was born on October 7, 1932 to the late Dante and Ida (DeZorzi) Pavan in New York City, NY. He earned a bachelor’s degree from John Jay College of Criminal Justice in New York. Delmor was a Detective for the New York Police Department before retiring in 1981. On August 24, 1987 he married Mary Grace Maune in Las Vegas, NV. He enjoyed traveling, NASCAR, reading, and spending time with family. Delmor is survived by his loving spouse of 30 years, Mary Grace; his in-laws, Dennis and Julie Van Dusen; two nieces, Elissa Tomich and Sandra Monahan; a nephew, Chris Van Dusen; and many other loving family and friends. He was preceded in death by his sister, Lonnie Facca. Funeral Mass will be held at 10:30 am on Friday, February 23, 2018, at St. Bernadette Catholic Church, 16245 N. 60th Street, Scottsdale, AZ 85254. Committal service with military honors will be at 11:00 am on Monday, February 26, 2018 at National Memorial Cemetery of AZ. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Delmor’s honor may be made the American Heart Association.
