Dolores was born in Brooklyn, NY on June 19, 1932, to her Italian immigrant parents. In 1950, she married her beloved husband, Richard “Dick” Easton Sr. They were married 66 years before his passing in 2017. They raised their six children on Long Island, NY before moving to Arizona in 1976.
Her life’s focus was raising her children and being the Italian mother that she was, her home revolved around cooking wonderful meals and inviting family and friends to enjoy them with her. Dolores was most happy when she was surrounded by people whether it be family, friends or just acquaintances. She had a way of making everyone feel welcome especially with her inviting smile and positive attitude. In addition to family, her faith was deep, and she instilled this in her family and lived it daily. Dolores is survived by her 5 children, Richard (Kitty) Easton Jr., Alana (Fred) Easton-Claus, Lynne (Glenn) Smigiel, Linda (Gordy) Berg and Amy Easton. She is preceded in death by her husband Dick and youngest son Drew Easton. She will also be greatly missed by her 14 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren who were all very blessed to know her. A Celebration of Life will be held at 9:00 am on Tuesday, September 10th at Phoenix Memorial Park and Mortuary, 200 W. Beardsley Road, in Phoenix.
