Mom, it is a year later to the date (12/27/2012).  It has been a very difficult year without you and we are all trying to find our own ways to adjust.  We visit your gravesite as often as possible.  I hope you know that we are there.  We look forward to the day when we will all be together again in the eternities.  Until then, be with us as our thoughts turn of you or when you see us weeping for you.  We love and miss you so much.

To the daughters of Dolores and her son whom I love very much, you are all in my prayers. I pray that God will give you peace and comfort you. I pray that your days ahead will be filled with joy. Love you all.

Dear Aunt Lola, I'm so sorry that I couldn't come for your funeral.  Even more, I would have loved to be with everyone to celebrate your 90th birthday. As I read the sweet comments of your grandchildren, I wish I knew them. Someday we will all get to know each other, and you can introduce us!  Thank you for being such a sweet friend and big sister to mama and for being such a sweet aunt to me.  I love you and look forward to the day when we see each other again!
