Dorothy May Gaupel at the age of 85 passed away on October 27, 2019 at 9:38 a.m. at the Beatitudes Campus in Phoenix under the loving care of the staff and Hospice of the Valley on the third floor where she resided for the past 5 years. Dorothy is survived by her children Jacque, Jerry and Judy. She had 10 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. She had many friends in Strawberry, Tempe, and Phoenix, Arizona. Dorothy and her husband, Jim constructed their home in Strawberry and moved there in 1987 where they lived happily in retirement. Dorothy was born in Cold Springs, Kentucky where she married her husband. They moved to Tempe, Arizona in 1961. A Celebration of life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 2, 2010 at the Beatitudes Campus Chapel 1610 W. Glendale Avenue, Phoenix, Arizona. Arrangements entrusted to Phoenix Memorial Park & Mortuary.
