Dorothy McKenna passed away in her sleep on January 1, 2013, after a short illness. She is survived by her husband, Gilbert, daughter Michele McKenna Scott and her husband Steve Scott. She also leaves her very close Grandchildren, Ashley and Aaron Scott. All reside in Phoenix, Arizona. She was preceded in death by her son, Scott McKenna of Austin, Texas. Dorothy was the daughter of
Frank and Gertrude Putzlocker of Plum Boro, PA. Her sister, Nancy Brooks of Loveland, CO also survives. Dorothy was a stay at home Mom for her family. She moved to different states with her husband and children but always joined into the local activities to meet new people. She was a happy bowler for 64 years. Funeral services will be held at Shadow Mountain Mortuary, 2350 E. Greenway Rd. Phoenix, Monday, January 7, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at the NationaL Memorial Cemetery of AZ, 23029 N. Cave Creek Rd, Phoenix. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Hospice of the Valley, 1510 E. Flower Street, Phoenix.
