

Edith Dale (Perkins) Osborn, 68, passed away on August 9, 2024, in Phoenix, Arizona. She was born on July 9, 1956, and grew up in her hometown of Pitkin, Louisiana, where she enjoyed the close ties of family, school and church. Thereafter, she dedicated her life to the nursing profession, having earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Northwestern State University in Natchitoches, Louisiana. Edith's career as a registered nurse was marked by her selfless service in hospitals and in-home patient care, reflecting her deep commitment to helping others.
As a kind and caring individual, Edith loved any contributions she could make to her church family at North Phoenix Baptist Church. Her personal interests included gardening, caring for plants, and traveling, and viewing classic TV shows.
Edith is preceded in death by her husband Royce Osborn, her parents, TJ and Emily Perkins, and her siblings, Maxine Manuel, Rosemary Ham, and Trent Perkins.
She is survived by her sisters, Patsy Colwell and Wanda Guidry, ten nieces, one nephew and three stepchildren, Angel Ballato, Anthony Osborn, Adam Osborn, who will miss her deeply.
A graveside memorial service will be held at Phoenix Memorial Park and Mortuary, 200 West Beardsley Rd, Phoenix, AZ on August 30, 2024, at 9:00 a.m., for family and friends to honor her memory.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or the American Heart Association in Edith's memory. The Phoenix Memorial Park and Mortuary in Phoenix, Arizona, is assisting with the arrangements.
