Born in Troy, NY to James and Evangeline (Bennett) Glynn in 1950. She was married to the love of her life, the late Richard J. Gear, in 1974. They loved to travel the country and the world.
One of her most precious memories was working as a crossing guard and in the cafeteria at White Eagle Elementary School in Naperville, IL. She always knew all the children, and they will always hold a special place in her heart.
Preceding Eileen in death were her siblings Merilyn Schrader (Anthony), James Lee Flynn (Barbara), Mary Slocum (James), Catherine Brennan (Dan), and Michael Glynn. She is survived by her loving son, R.J. Gear, and numerous nieces and nephews that meant the world to her.
Friends and relatives are invited to attend a small service Monday, June 23, 2025 at 10am at National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona, located at 2929 E Pinnacle Peak Rd, Phoenix, AZ 85024.
