Elizabeth Ball

Elizabeth S. Ball passed away into the arms of her Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ on October 14, 2014. Elizabeth was born on May 9, 1914 in Springfield, Illinois. She met her husband, Austin E. Ball at a camp meeting in Rushville, Illinois and the two were married on April 1, 1934. In their younger days, they had a music and preaching ministry in the Illinois area. In 1952 they moved with their 4 children to Phoenix, Arizona, where Austin worked as a machinist and Elizabeth worked in retail. Austin passed away in 2001 at the age of 90. Elizabeth lived to 100 years old and celebrated her 100th Birthday earlier this year with a tea-party themed party at Christian Care, where she lived for the last 14 years. She leaves behind 4 children, John B. Ball of Phoenix, Arizona; Danney Ball of Hemet, California; David Ball (October 1947 – October 16, 2014) of Phoenix, Arizona; and Janice McHone of Mt. Pleasant, North Carolina; 10 Grandchildren; 11 Great Grand Children and 4 Great Great Grand Children. Graveside memorial service will be held on October 26, 2014 at 11:00 am at Phoenix Memorial Park, 200 West Beardsley Road, Phoenix, AZ. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to CBN TV, where Austin served as a local counselor and Elizabeth watched the programs as she worshiped from her home each day.
