All I can add is "Greatest Mom in the World".  It's not getting any better (the missing you pain), in fact way worse!  You were always so fun to be around.  That cute look you'd give me when I'd tell you about weird stuff you weren't sure about.  Always so patient even when you were in such pain.  Someone always to look up to, respect with all my heart.  I miss calling you everytime I hear something interesting or have a question.  I don't know what people do without a Mom.  I guess, they don't do very well.  I miss you Mom! Words just don't say it. I wish we had more time together.

Yesterday I said goodbye to an amazing woman. Betty, I wish I'd gotten the chance to know you better. Even though we only knew each other for a short time, you welcomed my husband and I into your heart and into your family without hesitation. You were kind, caring, and I'll always remember the way you read us the paper so we could stay up to date on the days headlines. It's sad that Emily was only allowed 2 short months with you and I know that she already misses her great grandma Betty, We love you and miss you.

I am so glad that I had the pleasure to meet and spend fun times with Betty.  Her witty personality and wide smile will be missed.  I believe that she is shedding her bright light down on her family each and every day.   May her spirit continue to live within all of us.

The best mother-in-law ever!  Over the past 17 years, we have had good conversations about many things, including our faith and what the future holds.  Even after I lost my mother just last year, it was comforting knowing that you were always there for me whenever I needed you. Conrad and I are both missing a huge part of our lives now that you are gone.

  I am the man that I am today solely because of you. You were not only the best mother a person could ever have, but you pulled double duties and taught me everything that a father was to teach his son, and for that I thank you. 
  You taught me the meaning of love, respect, faith, courage, integrity, forgiveness and loyalty. You displayed those emotions with us every day. 
 Mom I'm so glad we were able to spend as much time together as we did. I only wish I could have stopped your pain.

Betty...we only knew each other for a few years, but because of our circumstances, I feel like I know more about you than most.  After all, it's not hard to learn everything about someone, when you have been together almost 24/7 for the last few years.  Thanks for keeping me company during the day.  It hasn't been the same without you.  I am so thankful for the time that we did have together.  You made me realize that I definitely do not have enough kitchen gadgets..lol  Thank you for raising such a wonderful son.  I know he owes a lot to you, and so do I.  
You made me feel like a part of the family from the moment I met you.  You are in our thoughts and prayers every day.
